Target Chairman & CEO Speaks at Reception on Capitol Hill

On June 19, HCPA represented the industry at The Economic Club of Minnesota’s CEO Reception, featuring Brian Cornell, Chairman & CEO of Target at the Kennedy Caucus Room in the Russell Senate Office Building.
Cornell is responsible for Target’s 1,800+ U.S. stores, digital properties, and almost 350,000 team members. He has more than 30 years of experience in leadership positions at leading retail and global consumer product companies and has more than two decades of experience doing business in North America, Asia, Europe, and Latin America. Cornell currently serves as Chairman of the Retail Industry Leaders Association (RILA) and he is a member of the board of directors for Yum! Brands. Steve Caldeira, President & CEO, HCPA; Jim Jones, Executive Vice President, Strategic Alliances & Industry Relations, HCPA; and Owen Caine, Executive Vice President, Government Relations & Public Policy, HCPA, attended the reception.
