The Household & Commercial Products Association is committed to protecting your privacy and maintaining your confidence and trust. As such, we openly communicate our privacy practices to visitors to our Web site. We have created the following privacy policy to openly communicate how we collect and use information.

HCPA does not collect any information without your knowledge and permission. We collect general, non-personally identifiable information that we use to improve our site, such as your browser type, geographic area, or the server your computer is logged onto. We will not disclose your personal information to third parties without your consent. There may be pages on our Web site upon which we ask for personal information such as your name and e-mail address. The information we collect is used for internal purposes only (to properly handle requests for additional information, etc.). Information that you supply to HCPA is stored in a secure location and is accessible only by designated staff. We do not share your personal information with any other organizations or third-parties for commercial purposes.

The data collected from visitors to our site is analyzed in aggregate form to show trends and improve the website for future visits. Personally identifiable information is not recorded. Like most public Web sites, our site collects your Internet Protocol (IP) address or the number that is assigned to your computer when you connect to the internet when you log on to our site. This information is used to gather information about our visitors’ browsing actions for composite use only.

Registration Payment and Refund Policies

Below you will find our current payment and refund policies. The policies listed below supersede all previous policies. Please review the policies carefully as there are no exceptions. If you have any questions about these policies, please contact us (202) 872-8110.

Payment Policy
Our typical policy is to collect registration payments on or around 48 hours of receiving and approving event registration forms. Such forms are submitted via email to our Director of Meetings and Conventions where registration forms are approved for correct credit card information. Credit card information will be provided to Capital One Bank in a secured electronic transfer through a security terminal paid for by HCPA.

Refund Policy (new as of July 2013)

All refund requests must be submitted in writing to Cassy LaRussa

For Mid-Year and Annual Meeting registrations: The deadline to receive a refund is 15 business days (not to include Federal Holidays) prior to the scheduled event start date. Registration cancellations received prior to the 15 business day deadline will be charged a $75 administrative fee. Cancellations received less than 15 business days prior to the scheduled event start date, will not be eligible for a refund.
We do, however, encourage substitutions if you are unable to attend.

For Seminars and Webinars: 1 week and 1 day from scheduled event date, a full refund will be given. 1 week or less prior to scheduled event start date, all fees will become Non-Refundable.

All publication purchases are Non-Refundable.
