Please join us in Washington, D.C. on October 9 – 10, 2018 for HCPA’s annual Overview of Pesticide Regulation in the U.S. This annual two-day course is based on the popular course that Crowell & Moring LLP and Technology Sciences Group (“TSG”) have been offering for over 35 years.
The course focuses on the practical: what you need to know to get your pesticide products on the market, keep them on the market and avoid penalties. We’ll cover the basics — the definition of a pesticide; the ABC’s of a registration, registration data and building a label; PRIA 4; tolerances; recordkeeping and reporting; preparing for an inspection and data compensation. We’ll also cover topics of current interest: electronic submissions; pollinators and the Endangered Species Act; state regulation of pesticides including California; and the potential impact of California’s Proposition 65 on pesticides. Additionally, the seminar will also include three new modules that were introduced in 2016 “Labeling Impacts of Toxicity Study Results,” “How to Register a Biopesticide,” and “Marketing Claims for Consumer Pesticides.”
The course is intended for registration and regulatory, legal, marketing, research and development and logistics personnel from pesticide companies. The schedule will allow time for you to ask questions and compare notes with others in the industry.
