HCPA Submits Letter to the Hawaii Department of Agriculture (HDOA) About Increased Pesticide Registration Fee

The Household & Commercial Products Association (HCPA) submitted a letter to the Hawaii Department of Agriculture (HDOA) regarding the increased pesticide registration fee. Beginning October 1, 2019, the pesticide registration fee for pesticide products registered in Hawaii will increase from $330 per three-year registration to $930. In the letter, HCPA addressed the lack of transparency in the rulemaking process, questioned the allocation of funds while also requesting a delay in implementation.
