HCPA Attends So Others Might Eat (SOME) Harvest Dinner Gala

On November 17, HCPA staff attended the So Others Might Eat (SOME) annual Harvest Dinner Gala. SOME is a Washington, DC-based not-for-profit organization that provides daily, warm meals, short and long-term housing for individuals and families, health services, including counseling for drug and alcohol addiction to help break the cycle and impact of homelessness. The event honored Allison and Matt Shay (President & CEO of the National Retail Federation) for their ongoing support of the organization with the SOME McKenna Humanitarian Award, which our own President & CEO Steve Caldeira (and his wife Jane) were honored with last year.
HCPA’s presence at events like these is an important representation of the association’s (and the industry’s) commitment to giving back to the community where we work and live.
