Nicholas Georges, Senior Director, Scientific & International Affairs, attended two public meetings with the United Nations (UN) Sub-Committee experts on June 20:
- The Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals (UNSCEGHS) hosted by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA);
- The Transport of Dangerous Goods (UNSCETDG) hosted by the Department of Transportation (DOT) Pipeline and Hazardous Material Safety Administration (PHMSA).
Of note is the European Aerosol Federation (FEA)/Household & Commercial Products Association (HCPA) co-sponsored a working paper to increase the maximum allowed internal pressure for aerosol dispensers. The Aerosol Products Division International Harmonization Committee leads this issue for HCPA.
