On April 15, Nicholas Georges, Senior Director, Scientific & International Affairs, attended the Lake Michigan Air Directors Consortium (LADCO) Regional Air Quality Meeting in Rosemont, Illinois. LADCO is a multi-jurisdictional organization that works with federal, state, tribal and local air agencies to improve the air quality in the Great Lakes region of the U.S. LADCO member states include Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio and Wisconsin.

Presentations were given by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Office of Air Quality Planning and Standards, the EPA Region 5, state air program directors, and LADCO staff about the various challenges within each state regarding air quality, as well as recent research and planning activities around air quality monitoring and modeling.
