HCPA hosted its first in-person discussion with allied trades under its new title, Household & Commercial Products Association. This meeting consisted of a legislative and regulatory update and included a discussion about an opportunity for collaboration regarding Maryland’s recently introduced “Consumer Protection – Cleaning Product Right-to-Know Act,” or HB-1080. Representatives from American Cleaning Institute (ACI), American Chemistry Council (ACC), International Fragrance Association of North America (IFRANA), Grocery Manufacturers Association (GMA) and Personal Care Product Council (PCPC) were in attendance and contributed to a thoughtful conversation surrounding common issues faced within the group.
