Event Info
In December 2020, Congress passed the American Innovation and Manufacturing (AIM) Act, which directs the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to reduce the production and consumption of Hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs) by 85 percent over the next 15 years. The EPA has 270 days to finalize a regulation, and the Agency has already solicited stakeholder feedback on the preliminary data that will be used to develop the baseline levels and an allocation system.
Robert Meyers, who is a Partner at Crowell & Moring and part of the firm’s Environment & Natural Resources Group will join HCPA to host a webinar that provides an overview of the AIM Act and how it will impact companies and aerosol products, as well as address the uncertainties of the law that the EPA will have to address in rulemaking and how Executive Orders from President Biden will impact the process.
