Dr. Steve Bennett, Senior Vice President, Scientific Affairs, attended the American Chemistry Council’s (ACC), Global Chemical Regulations Conference and Exhibition, GlobalChem 2019, on March 6 and 7 in Washington, D.C. The conference program featured updates regarding the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA), U.S. regulatory programs, and international chemical programs. Alexandra Dunn, Assistant Administrator, Office of Chemical Safety & Pollution Prevention (OCSPP) at the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), opened the conference with a thorough overview of the EPA’s outlook for 2019, which EPA staff and subject matter experts discussed in greater detail throughout the conference.
