On December 21, EPA responded to an industry request addressing concerns on the continuation of BIT supply disruption. EPA addressed these concerns by expanding the list of acceptable preservatives for use as BIT alternatives to include CIT/MIT, bronopol, CTAC, NaOPP and IPBC, providing minor formulation adjustment options with water or to adjust the pH to maintain formulation stability.
