On August 2, Steve Caldeira attended the Economic Club Regional Executive Conversation luncheon at the Bethesda Marriott in Bethesda, Maryland, which featured Maryland Governor, Larry Hogan. The luncheon was hosted by the Economic Club of Washington, DC, and consisted of a “conversation-style” interview with Economic Club President, host of Bloomberg’s “The David Rubenstein Show,” and Co-Founder of The Carlyle Group, David Rubenstein. Rubenstein’s interview with Gov. Hogan was largely focused on the value of bipartisanship and highlighted the Republican Governor’s 70 percent approval rating in a state where registered Democrats outnumber registered Republicans two to one.
