The Household & Commercial Products Association (HCPA) remotely attended a workshop held by the Vermont Department of Health (DOH) on September 5, to discuss potential amendments to the Chemicals of High Concern in Children’s Products Rule. During the workshop, the Vermont DOH discussed reporting periods and chemicals that degrade to release a listed chemical, specifically, formaldehyde donors. While HCPA member products are not directly impacted by this rule or its amendments, we will continue to monitor chemical regulatory programs across the country.
