The Pesticide Program Dialogue Committee (PPDC) meeting was held last week at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) offices in Arlington, Virginia. The two-day meeting addressed recent pesticide-related issues to elicit stakeholder feedback from PPDC members.

These topics included: Pesticide Registration Improvement Act (PRIA): What’s New in PRIA 4; Public Health Workgroup Report Out; OPP Farm Bill Implementation and Hemp; Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs); Biostimulants and Label Claims; and Strengthening the Effectiveness of the PPDC.

Additionally, Alexandra Dunn, Assistant Administrator of the EPA Office of Chemical Safety and Pollution Prevention (OCSPP), gave an update on several pesticide-related issues. Dunn recently addressed Household & Commercial Products Association (HCPA) members during IMPACT 2019, HCPA’s Mid-Year Meeting on May 2, 2019.
