Event Info
Signed into law in 2020, the American Innovation and Manufacturing (AIM) Act directs the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to phase down the production and consumption of Hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs) in the U.S.
Following the initial implementation of the Act, the Agency recently amended several regulatory requirements and refined its methodology for allocating HFC production and consumption allowances for 2024 through 2028. The Agency is also in the process of finalizing its determinations regarding new restrictions concerning the use of some higher-global warming potential HFCs in various applications, including aerosol products.
Robert Meyers, a Partner at Crowell & Moring and part of the firm’s Environment & Natural Resources Group, will join HCPA to host this webinar and discuss how current updates to AIM Act regulations will impact both companies and aerosol products. He will also preview upcoming rulemakings that could have an additional impact on the availability and use of HFCs.
