The EPA Announces Dr. Steve Bennett as a Member of the Pesticide Program Dialogue Committee

The Household & Commercial Products Association (HCPA) released the following statement after the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) appointed Dr. Steve Bennett, Senior Vice President, Scientific & Regulatory Affairs, to the Pesticide Program Dialogue Committee (PPDC) for a second consecutive term.
The Pesticide Program Dialogue Committee, a broadly representative federal advisory committee, meets with the EPA on a regular basis to discuss pesticide regulatory policy and program implementation issues.
“Dr. Bennett continues to provide valuable insight and expertise on behalf of HCPA members to the EPA,” said Steve Caldeira, President & CEO of HCPA. “In addition to the Pesticide Program Dialogue Committee, he also serves on the Science Advisory Committee on Chemicals (SACC). Dr. Bennett and his colleagues advise on important science and technical issues to ensure that products regulated by the EPA are safe and effective.”
The PPDC is made up of 40 members from environmental and public interest groups, pesticide manufacturers, trade associations, commodity groups, public health and academic institutions, tribes, federal and state agencies and the general public.
New members will serve from December 9, 2019 through December 9, 2021.
