On July 11, the HCPA Pest Management Executive Board met with Michael Goodis, Director, Registration Division, Office of Pesticide Programs (OPP), EPA, for a quarterly meeting on recent developments and updates. Topics discussed included Ingredient Disclosure, PR 98-10/2017-XX Update, Efficacy Activities, Pet Spot-On Update and Product Chemistry. EPA continues to have high-level discussions about how to update federal requirements to incorporate state and retailer requirements. While EPA technical staff is being hired, resources remain a very big issue, and actions with deadlines, like PRIA, take priority.
