Webinar #1: Tools to Help ESG Efforts
Date: Tuesday, April 19th at 11:00 am EST

Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) responsibility and reporting are becoming more important, a trend that challenges companies to incorporate ESG goals and data into their business strategy. Companies are at various points in the development of their ESG programs, but no matter where a company is, technology can assist with simplifying data needs and making reporting easier. HCPA is pleased to be joined by Chris Bolman, Co-Founder & CEO of Brightest, Inc. and Michael Hack of Compology to discuss how their technologies can help with managing, measuring, and reporting sustainability performance.

Webinar #2: Sustainable Procurement Initiatives – Government Purchasing as a Sustainability Driver
Date: May (TBD)

Sustainable procurement, also referred to as environmentally preferable purchasing, is a policy tool for driving the development of end markets for more sustainable products. Several states have already implemented such policies, and, with President Biden’s recent climate change and sustainability Executive Orders, the federal government has also taken action. This webinar will discuss policies and trends in sustainable procurement at the federal and state levels, as well as options for companies seeking to meet these requirements.

Webinar #3: Participating in an EPR program
Date: June 8th

As Maine and Oregon continue to implement their new Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) programs, we’ll take a look at what companies can expect for program compliance, including identifying and participating in Producer Responsibility Organizations (PROs) and registering with state departments. Hear from Michelle Carvell, Director & COO, Lorax EPI
