Since 2014, HCPA has been steadily working with EPA’s Office of Resource Conservation and Recovery (ORCR) on behalf of our aerosol membership to make the disposal of aerosols easier. HCPA placed a priority on this issue in 2017 and in response, EPA has announced that it will reclassify aerosol cans as universal waste.
