On May 25, the California Air Resources Board (CARB) conducted a public hearing to consider the adoption of proposed amendments to the Consumer Products Regulation and Method 310. The Board approved the adoption of the proposed amendments, which provide manufacturers formulating flexibility to comply with CARB’s limit for Multi-Purpose Lubricant by providing an alternative reactivity-based compliance option. HCPA submitted written public comments in support of the amendments and provided testimony during the public hearing.
