The Household & Commercial Products Association (HCPA) submitted comments to the Maryland Department of the Environment (MDE) on their proposed preliminary draft regulation to restrict the use of certain hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs) in aerosol propellants, chillers, foam and stationary refrigeration end-uses. HCPA is in support of the MDE’s goal to restrict the use of high global warming potential (GWP) HFCs through limiting their use in a manner that is consistent with similar actions taken by other states.
