HCPA Attends Fragrance Creators Association Event on Capitol Hill

In an ongoing effort to show our continued support for allied trade organizations, the Household & Commercial Products Association (HCPA) joined fragrance industry colleagues in attending a Capitol Hill reception hosted by the Fragrance Creators Association (FCA) on May 14. This event brought together industry leaders, lawmakers, staff, and media to promote industry focused education and innovations that benefit consumers and workers.
The reception also celebrated the 2019 Fragrance Legislators of the Year award winners, Representatives Jackie Walorski (R-IN-02) and Sanford Bishop (D-GA-02). Representatives Walorski and Bishop are both members of the Congressional Fragrance Caucus and have advocated for the fragrance industry by encouraging the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to approve newer, greener fragrance ingredients.
