HCPA and European Aerosol Federation Submit Aerosol Pressure Proposal to the United Nations
April 9, 2019
The European Aerosol Federation (FEA) and the Household & Commercial Products Association (HCPA) submitted a formal proposal to the United Nations Sub-Committee of Experts on the Transport of Dangerous Goods (UNSCETDG) to increase the maximum allowed internal pressure for aerosols at 50 degrees Celsius in the UN Model Regulations. This proposal maintains the same safety margins for aerosol products with the proposed higher pressures.
This proposal will be discussed at the next UNSCETDG session on July 1-5.
