On March 13, staff from the Household & Commercial Products Association (HCPA) joined member companies, including BASF Corporation; Ecolab Inc.; Lonza, Inc.; and RB, and allied trade associations to participate in the Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) Pesticide Registration Improvement Act (PRIA) Quarterly Stakeholder meeting. The stakeholder meeting was the first since the passage of PRIA 4 on March 8 and addressed the backlog of work and metrics impact that resulted from the partial government shutdown earlier this year. The EPA also covered the interim period between PRIA 3 and PRIA 4 before discussing what is new under PRIA 4.
