Fall EPA Pesticide Program Dialogue Committee (PPDC) Meeting

The Pesticide Program Dialogue Committee was held on October 31 and November 1. The PPDC is a federal advisory committee that regularly meets with the EPA to discuss pesticide regulatory policy and program implementation issues, of which HCPA Senior Vice President of Scientific Affairs, Dr. Steve Bennett is a member. The topics discussed included: The Pesticide Registration Improvement Act (PRIA); Smart Label Project/e-CSF; Emerging Application Technologies; Benefits of Biological Products: Industry Perspective; Integrated Mosquito Management Training; PPDC Public Health Workgroup; and 21st Century Toxicology: OPP’s Efforts on Non-Animal Alternative Testing for the Acute 6-Pack.
