EPA Releases Resource for Exposure-Relevant Data on Chemicals in Consumer Products

The EPA Office of Research & Development (ORD) National Exposure Research Laboratory has published research entitled “The Chemical and Products Database, a resource for exposure-relevant data on chemicals in consumer products” in Nature – Scientific Data. The research underlies much of the exposure information available in the CompTox Chemistry Dashboard. The researchers relied upon publicly available product formulation information of over 15,000 products and will provide useful data to exposure and risk assessors evaluating chemical and product safety. HCPA has contacted the researchers to explore opportunities to share the research results and ways to improve the quality of the data. To view the article, click here.
