CSPA Seeks Comments on Method for Aerosol Products in Plastic Containers

The Consumer Specialty Products Association (CSPA) is seeking comments on its recently drafted method for aerosol products in plastic containers.
The Plastic Aerosol Research Group (PARG), coordinated by the Research and Regulatory Management Council (RMMC), an affiliate of CSPA, has developed a voluntary standard test method related to the development and manufacturing of aerosol products in plastic containers, also known as “plastic aerosol.” Specifically, this method is intended to provide information on conducting evaluations to address regulatory requirements and identifying appropriate measurements during the development and manufacturing of aerosol products in plastic containers. In response to requests for an international standard, CSPA is proposing to include the standard as an appendix to the CSPA Aerosol Guide and make the standard available for sale to interested parties.
Reviewers will have from January 5, 2017 to February 4, 2017 to submit their comments on the testing method to CSPA. For questions or to request a copy of the guidance documents for review, please contact CSPA’s Aerosol Products Division Staff Executive Kristin Power at kpower@cspa.org.
