Caldeira Assumes Position Officer as Secretary-Treasurer of the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) Board of Directors—Will Ascend to Board Chair in 2020—ASAE’s Centennial Year

On August 20, HCPA President & CEO, Steve Caldeira, assumed his position as Secretary-Treasurer of the ASAE Board of Directors. Steve has served on the board since 2016 and is a past co-chair of ASAE’s Summit Awards to benefit the “Power of Advocacy” which showcases how American and international trade associations and professional societies are using their unique resources to solve complex public policy issues, improve business conditions and advance industry staff development practices in the association profession. Steve has also served as Chair of ASAE’s Key Industry Associations Committee (KIAC) that brings together leading trade association CEOs to discuss and advance ideas on the most important legislative and regulatory issues of the day at all levels of government. ASAE represents 42,000 association management professionals and 7,300 organizations.
