October 17, 2018
On September 25, Owen Caine, Executive Vice President, Government Relations & Public Policy, HCPA, attended “The Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) Challenge,” hosted by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in conjunction with the United Nations General Assembly meeting in New York City. The event brought together organizations and agencies from across the country and the world to hold an open discussion on how, as a group, we can help fight antimicrobial resistance while still preserving a safe and healthy environment. One of the key points of discussion was on disease prevention through the use of, among other things, vector-borne disease repellants and cleaning products.
