Brown and Jones attend American Cleaning Institute Annual Meeting

Tim Brown, vice president, regulatory counsel and international affairs, attended the American Cleaning Institute’s (ACI) 2018 Annual Meeting and Convention, January 29 to February 3 in Orlando, Florida. Jim Jones, executive vice president, strategic alliances and industry relations, joined Brown and served as HCPA’s senior representative. As the Staff Executive for the Cleaning and Antimicrobial Divisions, Brown met with colleagues in the field and discussed current issues.
On January 29, Brown attended the International Cleaning Product Associations Information Exchange (ICPAIE) made up of sister cleaning associations from around the world. Representatives convened to tackle global issues impacting the cleaning product industry including ingredient communication, fragrance issues, and developments in microplastics. “It’s great to have an international perspective on the same issues that affect us in the United States while finding solutions and discussing best practices on a global scale,” Brown said.
