In April, ACE joined the National Organization for Youth Safety (NOYS), the National Safety Council (NSC), and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) to participate in Distracted Driving Awareness Month. ACE specifically called attention to the dangers of huffing and driving. Huffing causes uncoordinated physical symptoms, depressed reflexes, impaired judgement, and drunk and dazed appearance  ̶  of which not only put the driver’s life at risk, but others on the road as well. No one should huff whether they are driving or not, but driving while huffing can cause accidents, injuries and even deaths.
