Andrea Mojica serves as the Vice President, Regulatory Affairs and as the staff executive for both the Antimicrobial Products and Cleaning Products Divisions. Andrea comes to HCPA from the EPA where she worked in the Office of Chemical Safety and Pollution Prevention for 12 years.
From 2006 to 2013, Andrea was a chemical review manager in the Pesticide Reevaluation Division in the Office of Pesticide Programs. From 2013-2017 Andrea was a special assistant to the Assistant Administrator of the Office of Chemical Safety and Pollution Prevention. In this capacity, Andrea advised the Assistant Administrator on pesticide regulatory issues related to registration, registration review and regulations related to worker safety. Since 2017, Andrea worked as a regulatory analyst in the Chemical Control Division in the Office of Pollution Prevention and Toxics on implementation of the Frank R. Lautenberg Chemical Safety for the 21st Century Act.
Andrea has a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Michigan in English Literature and a master’s degree in Environmental Policy from The George Washington University.
